Volunteer with Scouts

Volunteering with 2nd East Leake Scouts is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in our community while enriching your own life. Whether you’re an experienced adventurer or new to Scouting, there’s a place for you in our welcoming team.

At 2nd East Leake, we offer a dynamic programme for young people aged 4 to 18, including:

• Beavers (6–8 years): Meeting on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

• Cubs (8–10½ years): Meeting on Thursdays and Fridays

• Scouts (10½–14 years): Meeting on Mondays

• Explorers (14–18 years): Meeting on Wednesdays

As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:

• Make new friends and expand your social circle

• Try new activities and challenge yourself

• Enjoy the outdoors and engage in hands-on experiences

• Positively impact the lives of young people

• Create lasting memories

Whether you can commit regularly or just occasionally, your time and skills are highly valued. From planning activities to preparing refreshments, every contribution makes a difference. And of course, there’s always a warm welcome, a hot drink, and a biscuit waiting for you!
