About Us

Empowering Young People, Enriching Our Community

At 2nd East Leake Scout Group, we are dedicated to equipping young individuals with essential life skills while fostering a strong sense of community. Nestled in the heart of East Leake, our group welcomes over 70 young people aged 6 to 18 from the village and surrounding areas, offering them a vibrant Scouting experience.

Our diverse programme includes activities such as survival skills, first aid, cooking, and expeditions that can lead to Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Beyond skill-building, we emphasise fun, friendship, creativity, and outdoor adventures, ensuring an inclusive environment for all young people, regardless of their abilities.

Our Volunteers: The Heartbeat of Our Group

Our success is driven by a dedicated team of volunteers who bring energy, passion, and commitment to every meeting and event. From section leaders to behind-the-scenes supporters, each volunteer plays a crucial role in delivering our dynamic programmes. Volunteering with us not only benefits the youth but also offers adults opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community engagement.
